Now that our closing announcement is outta the way, we can go back to doing what we love- fun things with cool people.

We are super stoked to be teaming up with Two Hands and Corner Inlet Fishers to present a week celebrating Victorian seafood!

WHAT’S ON
This week, in addition to our regular offering we will be showcasing different seafood from Corner Inlet. Avid fisherman (and forager), Rascal Head Chef, Kyle Nicol has planned an amazing selection of seafood dishes, kicking off with a smoked mackerel and Yuzu ramen tonight, then a crumbed Tommy ruff roll tmrw. On Thurs-Sat a whole section of our menu will be dedicated to fresh caught seafood!


ABOUT TWO HANDS AND KYLE NICOL
Rascal, Kyle and Two Hands have been working together to serve amazing seafood dishes using local seafood for the past 6 months. We believe in the product so much, we wanted to hero it for a week!

Two Hands:
Two Hands align with our philosophy of supporting small, local producers and businesses. We put in an order to Two Hands for certain types of fish, and they connect us directly with local small fishing businesses, including Corner Inlet, who call us with their catches that day. It is the best way to get us the freshest produce, support local (sustainable) businesses and really know where our food comes from.

Kyle:
Kyle has worked at Rascal since opening and has been Head Chef for the past two years. Growing up on the north coast of NSW, Kyle has a love and deep appreciation for farming, fishing and nature which led him into a career in food. Kyle has passion for creating delicious seafood dishes with an emphasis on local, native and sustainable produce.

COVID PSA

We are endeavoring to remain open and servicing our locals, despite COVID presenting significant challenges to our industry and the community.

In order to do so, and for the safety of our staff and patrons we have implemented some temporary changes, which include:

• Offering a reduced dining menu
• Requesting all patrons wear masks in the venue when not seated, social distance (where possible), and sanitize hands.

We will be regularly cleaning the venue to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Please note we may be slightly understaffed at times, and request your patience and understanding.
