Rascal Lockdown 4.2

With the lockdown extended for another week we have a couple of fun things planned to keep the spirits up.

On Tuesday we have teamed up with our friend, Fiona, at Brunswick Soap to offer a little thank you gift. Every purchase over $40 at Rascal tomorrow, will receive a free bar of luxury hand-made soap (made in Brunswick) from natural and sustainable ingredients (RRP $10). This stuff is seriously good!

On Wednesday we have teamed up with our mates at Ratio Chocolate Roasters, to release the most decadent chocolate mousse recipe going around (thanks Chef Kyle Nicol!). All you need to do is download the recipe, pick up some chocolate either from us or Ratio (186 Sydney Road), and get cooking. It is a seriously opulent (and easy to make) lockdown dessert!

On Thursday our Fried Chicken Sam is making a take-away come-back all afternoon. Buttermilk brined fried chicken, sugarloaf cabbage and nasturtium hot sauce are wedged in sliced bread to create a beautiful sam. It is an easy meal on the run! (We are also offering a fried mushroom sam for the vegos) $10 with any beer purchase, $12 otherwise.

On Friday, we are still up in the air. If the lockdown is lifted, we have a super fun night in the works, however, we are keeping our cards close to our chest until we have more certainty. Otherwise, we are preparing an At-Home (some would say lux Indian?) in case the lock down further extends! Either way, we have you covered.

We also have our Support Local Support Brunswick Tees available online and in/store. Designed by Seb Godfrey, all profits go to supporting programs provided by Brunswick Neighborhood House. Purchase here.

Further details will be released each day this week. Thank you again for your continued support!

We are endeavoring to remain open and servicing our locals, despite COVID presenting significant challenges to our industry and the community.

In order to do so, and for the safety of our staff and patrons we have implemented some temporary changes, which include:

• Offering a reduced dining menu
• Requesting all patrons wear masks in the venue when not seated, social distance (where possible), and sanitize hands.

We will be regularly cleaning the venue to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Please note we may be slightly understaffed at times, and request your patience and understanding.

Thanks for your ongoing support!
