Rascal International Women’s Day (/Labour Day) EVE!

Rascal International Women’s Day (/Labour Day) EVE!

Rascal is hosting an event celebrating the on-going achievements and contributions local women make to the Brunswick community!

On Sunday 7th March Rascal will be showcasing a range of Brunswick-based businesses owned and operated by women, across our food and drink menus.

Think gnocchi cacio e pepe using Harper and Blohm smoked raclette cheese (thanks Olivia), Wattle seed wagon wheels using Ratio Dark Chocolate (thanks Deb), beers by Two Birds brewery and wines by Avani Winery!

Best of all a portion of sales of these dishes and drinks will go towards Djirra Vic, an amazing local organization, that supports Aboriginal women’s journeys to safety and wellbeing.

Rascal will also host local DJ, friend, and Barada/Yiman woman living in Narrm, Yarra Conole for an evening of great music.

The event is free to attend, however bookings are recommended (and spots limited).

We are endeavoring to remain open and servicing our locals, despite COVID presenting significant challenges to our industry and the community.

In order to do so, and for the safety of our staff and patrons we have implemented some temporary changes, which include:

• Offering a reduced dining menu
• Requesting all patrons wear masks in the venue when not seated, social distance (where possible), and sanitize hands.

We will be regularly cleaning the venue to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Please note we may be slightly understaffed at times, and request your patience and understanding.

Thanks for your ongoing support!
