Rascal’s Head Chef, Kyle Nicol (ex-Supernormal), has teamed up with mate Poodle/Rocco’s Head Chef, Josh Fry (ex-Marian and Cumulus Inc) to put together an At-Home and weekend sambo shop menu that channel Italian Trattoria/Nonna’s house vibes.

“We are thrilled to be working together. We have wanted to do something for a while, with lockdowns giving some opportunity for something different. We are looking forward to bringing some of Rocco’s signature Italo-dishes to Brunswick, adding a few Rascal touches.” Say Kyle Nicol.

Chefs Kyle and Josh have put a spin on some classic Italian comfort foods.
“The menu channels Italian Grandma vibes, with hearty, delicious, carb-filled dishes like focaccia and veal bolognese. The sides have plenty of great veggies that you can imagine coming from a Nonnas back garden.” Says Kyle.

Rocco’s Sandwich Pop-Up
Rascal is swapping their usual weekend street-side BBQ, for a sandwich shop. On Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of October, Josh and Kyle will be in the kitchen together dishing out Rocco’s famous meatball subs and sambos!
The Rascal bottle-o will also be open, with a range of fun cocktails, beers (over 250) and wines to take away.
