We offer a range of bespoke catered packages to take your event to the next level.

Specialising in seasonal inspired food and drinks, our carefully crafted menus are designed to be enjoyed. From standing style cocktails and canapes to sit-down events, our dedicated events manager can work with you to create something fun, delicious and truly special!

Where do I start?

Starting to plan a function or event can be daunting, but it doesn’t need to be!

We have stepped out some basic decision points for you to help get started. We also have an events manager on-hand to help put together the perfect event.

Things to consider:

Basic Details: When is your event? How many people is the event for?

Food: What type of food would you like? (snacks, canapes, or a sit-down meal)

Drinks: What type of drinks would you like?

Basic Details

Got an event in mind? Please let us know when and for how long you would like the event, as well as how many people you are thinking about having. Rascal has a unique backroom space that can be used for events, as well as a whole-venue option!

Rascal is open 7 days a week, from 3pm to late. We can tailor events for 10-20 most days and nights (subject to availability).
Events can be booked for a two-hour seating, or longer on request.


Backroom: 10-20 people
Host an amazing event in our backroom, with original fireplace and mural by Minna Leunig, is a unique space that is separated from the rest of the venue. The space can be organised for seated or standing events.

Whole venue: 20-80 people
Host a full-venue event amongst the bottles! Our venue is housed in a 19th century heritage listed building that we have updated with a contemporary design – including murals by the talented Minna Leunig and Georgia Harvey.

Note: Whole-of-venue bookings are only available between 1-5pm, unless by special agreement.


We work closely with local producers, suppliers and Sydney Road legends to bring you awesome event food that is fun, colourful, fresh and bloody delicious!

We offer three unique menu styles, perfect for functions snacks, canapes, or a full sit-down option. We can also cater to allergy and dietary requests.

The snack drop is a selection of the best snacks on our menu for sharing.

● For $38pp you get a selection of snacks ideal for grazing over while enjoying a few drinks.

If you would prefer a stand-up cocktail style function, we have a wide selection of canapes available.

● For $59 per person, your guests will receive 7 canapes (6 standard canapes, and 1 large canape, per person). You can pick and choose your favourite dishes to be served, on the night!
Want to add more canapes? Speak to our events manager for a custom menu and price.

Sit-Down Meal:
After something a bit more formal? We offer two amazing sit-down menus that are perfect for a special event.

● For $65pp, enjoy a 4-course set menu for you and your guests, featuring some of our favourite and most popular dishes.

● For $95pp, enjoy a 4-course menu for you and your guests, with some of our most premium and off-menu specials.


We pride ourselves on showing you and your guests an incredible experience and want to work with you to create a unique drinks menu that suits your event.

We have over 250 wines, 200 beers and 60 spirits so we can tailor your drinks menu to however you desire.

This includes classic to house cocktails, full bar, to only specific products chosen by you.

Our drink package options include:

● A per-head bespoke drinks package, where we work with you to develop a unique drink offering for the event.

● A bar tab, name your price and what you want to be available, and we do the rest.

● Guests pay as they go.

We are endeavoring to remain open and servicing our locals, despite COVID presenting significant challenges to our industry and the community.

In order to do so, and for the safety of our staff and patrons we have implemented some temporary changes, which include:

• Offering a reduced dining menu
• Requesting all patrons wear masks in the venue when not seated, social distance (where possible), and sanitize hands.

We will be regularly cleaning the venue to keep everyone as safe as possible.
